In this haunting tragedy, Antigone, the daughter of Oedipus attempts to defy her uncle Creon and bury her brother. Her brother, the “traitor that dares to raise arms against Thebes” will wander the earth until buried. She will do whatever it takes to accomplish this goal, even die at the hands of Creon. However, perhaps she was always meant to die. As in tragedy, this story does not have a happy ending, but we tell it anyway, as a warning of the consequences when one refuses to admit they were wrong.
